SUBMERGED series...
SUBMERGED series,
is a series composed of some of my favorite characters that i've drawn up over the last
year, who have all managed to find their way to the bottom of the ocean.
series SEALIFE...
series SEALIFE, is a set of three paintings
created for a good friend's 1-year-old son's, underwater-themed room.
they were painted them with gouache & windsor newton ink on canvas + a
touch of photoshop.
"SMURFS COLOR REMIX" series
making use of some of the smurf designs for the saturday morning cartoons
art show, that i wasn't a big fan of, i combined them with some
patenaude-esque landscapes, with gouache + windsor newton ink on canvas ...
"BEASTLY FLOATING PORTRAITS" series
eventually slated for a monstrous landscape piece, i couldn't wait to get
these buggers on the canvas, so here, my friends, is the BEASTLY FLOATING
PORTRAITS series, produced with gouache and various inks on canvas...
"ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY" series
here's a collection of pieces i've been creating for the web site called,
[illustration friday],
which posts weekly topics for artists to post their takes on.
"SALVAGED" series...
the SALVAGED series, is an ongoing series created in an attempt to
"salvage" a few pieces, that were previously integrated into compositions
that i wasn't quite happy with. so! here they are- all on
their own with nothing to detract from the simple ideas! they were
created with gouache & windsor newton ink on canvas paper and measure 5X7"
each. the edition of 50 prints, will be printed with HP vivera pigment
ink by an HP photosmart pro B9810 printer on 200+ gsm Hahnemuhle paper.
"LEFT OUT" series
in an attempt to gain a bit of mileage from some of my favorite sketches
that were just gathering dust, i tied them together in the "LEFT OUT"
series, in which none of them seem able to give our 3-eared friend, the time
of day...
"STRAY" series
while waiting on larger canvas for a future series, i put together a few
compositions with some of my favorite "stray" art that i'd created over the
previous months...
and for a clean layout, i've included one
from the RESUSCITATION series below:)
